Career Highlights Background in music: I started started singing as a young child with the famliy. My Father,(Doyle Chisum) had a band for as many years as I can remember. He taught me the chords and he and my Mother (Patricia}bought me my first guitar for graduation into junior high. As a teenager I would go to Dad's gigs and get up and sing with him. I was a member of the Caney River Band for a couple of years around 2000. I joined Phat Ace in 2008 after attending a practice and singing along with my son(Chris), and would say that being a small part of my son's first band has by far been the highlight of my musical background.
